Getting There
The Four Seasons Hotel Denver is located in the heart of downtown Denver, just steps away from the city’s best restaurants and entertainment. If you’re traveling from out of state, we recommend flying into Denver International Airport (DEN). From the airport, it’s an easy drive of about 30–40 minutes to the hotel. Guests can reach the Four Seasons by rental car, taxi, train or rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft.

Take a Rideshare or Taxi
Denver International Airport is about 30–40 minutes from the hotel. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are readily available outside baggage claim.

Take the A Line Train
The RTD A Line runs directly from DEN Airport to Union Station downtown in about 37 minutes. From there, it’s a quick 5-minute ride or 15-minute walk to the Four Seasons.

Rent a Car
The fastest and most flexible option for checking out the surrounding area. Valet parking is available at the hotel.
Travel Tip: Denver’s downtown can be busy during peak hours and events. If you’re arriving on a Friday or leaving Sunday afternoon, allow a little extra time for traffic or rideshare availability.

Altitude in
COLORADO
Denver sits exactly one mile above sea level — 5,280 feet! While it’s not as high as the mountain towns, visitors may still notice the thinner, drier air. Take it slow the first day, stay hydrated, and enjoy experiencing life at a true “mile high.”
Things to Remember When Visiting Denver’s Mile-High Altitude

-
Stay Hydrated:
Denver’s dry climate and higher elevation can dehydrate you quickly. Drink plenty of water throughout your stay — you’ll need more than usual here! -
Go Easy on Alcohol:
At one mile above sea level, alcohol can feel stronger than it does at lower elevations. Sip slowly and pace yourself to avoid feeling the effects too quickly. -
Don’t Forget Sunscreen:
With less atmosphere to filter UV rays, the sun is more intense in Denver. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat — even in cooler months. -
Dress in Layers:
Weather in Colorado can change quickly. Sunny afternoons often turn into cool evenings, so bring layers you can add or remove easily. -
Take It Easy & Enjoy:
Don’t stress about the altitude — most visitors adjust just fine. Get plenty of rest, drink water, and enjoy all the beauty Denver has to offer!
